Process for updates

After discussion with a number of coaches, I am testing an alternative method for getting top times posted from around the state.  The job of manually updating times takes too much time.  I am going to duplicate the method being used by the coaches on the west side to create their top times list using Hytek’s Meet Manager. I have taken the entries from MISCA and merged them with the results and team entries from Dow and Holland to produce the first list.  I realize that in some instances individuals are listed at the slower of their MISCA entry time and results time.  Results trumped entries.

Submission of times or updates

The list will be generated as a meet manager psych sheet.  I am not going to hand enter or correct anything so please don’t send me emails that Bobby Sue’s time is incorrect.  To submit your team’s top times for inclusion on the list, you must follow the procedure detailed below and send me a meet entry:

· Your meet entry can be created by using either Hytek’s Team Manager or TM Lite. 

· Please do not create your own meet. 

· Use the meet entry file that I created and import it into Team Manager to simplify things and avoid submission errors. 

· Please use you official MHSAA team code in team manager to avoid duplication. 

· This is the same as entering the state meet or the MISCA meet. 

· You will note that only D-3 and faster times can be submitted.

· Enter swimmers in each event that they qualify for.  You are not limited.

· Enter one relay team only, and don’t bother with names.

League Entry

If your league wants to do a similar list, I will send you my Meet Manager file for your use.   The league’s top times coordinator can submit everyone’s times and send me one entry by created an export file using Entries for Meet Manager Merge of the Same Meet (one of the export options).  Submit times on Saturday and I will update Sunday.
